1. Really—Let It Go…

It’s been said that hanging on to anger, unforgiveness, hatred and a desire for revenge is like drinking poison and then hoping the other person will die.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

2. Wipe Out Worry

Worry will not strip tomorrow of its burdens, it will strip today of its joy. It’s like a rocking chair. It’ll keep you busy but it’ll get you nowhere – and if you keep it up long enough it will wear you out!

“Who among you can add a single hour to your life by worrying? Matthew 6:27

3. Think About What You’re Thinking About

The moment we choose to take responsibility for our thoughts we begin the positive process of rejoicing in the day the Lord has made.

“Friends, I’d say you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise, not things to curse… Do that, and God, who makes everything work together, will work you into his most excellent harmonies.” Philippians 4:8-9The Message
